BJP leader Uma Bharti on Saturday said Robert Vadra, son-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, would go to jail if BJP comes to power after the elections.

"Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law is involved in several falsehood and after the election if BJP comes to power then you must be sure that he would be in jail," said Uma, who is the BJP candidate from this constituency.

On a photograph of Vadra with business tycoon Gautam Adani, which was beamed on several TV channels and went viral on the net on Saturday, Uma said, "Owing to his acts, he is likely to end in jail sooner or later." "He may meet Adani or Advani but he has to go to jail."

She described chief minister Akhilesh Yadav as a mere 'puppet' and claimed that the state government was being actually run and controlled by SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. She also claimed that a few district officials were working as polling agents of the ruling SP.
